Materials are tangible, consumable items that are used to make products. Your system comes pre-populated with basic materials which can be edited to fit your needs from Settings/Components/Materials.
Note: You can click on Materials either from the Main Navigation Menu or from the All Settings Page.
To save time, you can clone or edit one of the prepopulated materials which come with linked components and industry-standard formulas to calculate costs, and the settings needed to help get you started.
Once you’ve selected a material to edit, you can quickly jump from one item to another using the Mini Search Menu.
Additional Options
A. Custom Fields allow you to create your own fields to add to your materials. Example: Preferred vendors. B. The Files section can be used to save vendor contracts and other records that you want to keep regarding this material. C. Notes that are related to this material may be added for internal reference once a material has been created. |  |
