How to Set Up Dashboards and Widgets

In CoreBridge, a Dashboard is a customizable overview where you can gather and display key information relevant to your workflow using applications known as Widgets. Customizing your Dashboards can help you view useful data and analytics at a glance.

Finding a Dashboard

 

To find a Dashboard navigate to a Module such as Sales, Production, Accounting or Purchasing and select Dashboard. Within the Dashboard, different Widgets can be created to simplify viewing stats and information.




Creating and Editing Widgets 


Widgets are small applications that can be added to your dashboard to display dynamic data or perform specific functions. Widgets offer real-time insights and each has unique settings. For more information about Widgets, please see Widgets Overview.



Adding a Widget


1. Hover over an empty space to bring up the Add Dashboard Widget. Click on the Plus Button

2. Select the appropriate Widget from the list.

Note: You may filter Widgets by the Category drop down list or use the Search Bar.

When a Widget is selected, a preview will show.

3. Click Add.




Resizing a Widget 


Hover your cursor near the corner or side of the Widget. A resizing arrow will appear. Click and drag until the Widget is the desired size. 




Moving a Widget


Hover your cursor near the top bar of the widget until a Move symbol appears. Drag and drop the Widget to the desired area.




Viewing and Editing Settings


Specific settings will vary depending on the Widget selected. The Widget Information, Name, Refresh Interval, and Filter by Location will be available for all Widgets.


1. Click the ellipses at the top right of the Widget.

2. Select Settings.

Note: The ellipses at the top of a Widget can also quickly Clone or Remove a Widget.

    a. Widget Information - This provides a quick synopsis of what this particular Widget does.

    b. Name - This will be the name as viewed on your Dashboard.

    c. Refresh Interval - Widgets are automatically set to update every 30 minutes. This can be modified by typing a new number into this field.

Note: The minimum refresh time is 5 minutes. It is important to note that refreshing more frequently can cause system slowdowns.

    d. Filter by Location - If your system has multiple locations, you may choose to filter the information displayed according to location. For more information about adding locations to your system, please contact [email protected].

e. Options - These options will be specific to the Widget you have selected.

3. Click Save
