Market Based Based Pricing is a pricing method where the costs of components, such as, material cost, labor cost, and machine cost are stored together for reporting purposes but are not included in calculating price. CoreBridge allows for both Market - Assembly Pricing and Market Component Pricing. Pricing methods are applied in assemblies. For more information on assembilies, please see Assembly Overview.

Setting Up Market - Assemby Pricing
In Market Assembly Pricing, the system adds together the material, labor, and machine costs in the assembly for reporting purposes only. Cost is not used to calculate a price. Market assembly pricing multiplies the total quantity by a market price from a pricing tier table. This calculated price can also add optional custom formula features, such as, additional waste formulas, minimum line item quantity, and minimum price per line item requirements.
1. Navigate to Settings / Components / Assemblies.
2. Select an Assembly.
3. Go to the Pricing tab.
4. Click Expand All.
5. Go to the top section, Active Pricing Method and Formula Customizations.
a. Select Market - Assembly Pricing - The formula calculation displayed is based on the formula customizations that are selected.
Note: As selections are made below the formula will update for those selections.
b. Pre-Discount - Before quantity discounts based on table pricing are applied, additional charges, such as, custom waste calculations can be added by default in the assembly to the price.
c. Post-Discount - After quantity discounts based on table pricing are applied, additional charges, such as, custom waste calculation can be added by default in the assembly to the price.
d. Assembly Minimums - Setting Minimum Price Per Each Item and a Minimum Total Price can be set by default in the assembly. This will charge a minimum regardless of the quantity and/or total market assembly price calculated up to this minimum.
e. Assembly Fees - Setting a One-Time Fee and a Per Item Quantity Fee can be set by default in the assembly that will apply a one time fee and/or a per item quantity fee in addition to the calculated total market assembly price.
6. Go to the Tables section. Table pricing can be setup based on unit price, quantity discounts, or a custom table. For custom tables and assistance with tables, please contact your Customer Support Manager at [email protected].
Note: Click on the Ellipsis in the upper corner of the unit price table to edit or clear all table values.
a. Click on the Unit Price table.
b. Enter the unit price by total quantity. Customize the unit price and quantity ranges.
Example: A total quantiy of 10 items on an order would be calculated at $4.50 each by default. A total quanity of 15 would be $4.00 each.
c. Click the Plus icon to add more columns. Additional quantity breaks can be added.
d. Tables built in the system are based on default pricing tier. Additional pricing tiers can be added, such as, wholesale. Go to Settings / Sales / Pricing Tiers.
e. Click on the Ellipsis in the upper corrner to edit table properties or clear all table values. Column variable, table breaks defined, and number displayed can be changed.
Note: Fields greyed out can not be changed on the Edit Table screen.
f. Click on the Discount table - This will setup a default discount table for this assembly.
g. Enter discount percentages by Total Quantity. Customize discounts and total quantity ranges.
Example: A total quantity of 10 would get a 5% discount. A total quantity of 15 would get a 10% discount applied to the calculated price. All values can be customized.
7. Go to the Assembly Settings section.This will allow for default sizes, and custom waste settings. This section can vary depending on the assembly.
a. Assembly Defaults - These are default assembly settings that will be set for order entry. Assembly sizes, as well as, 2nd side printing can be set here for ease in order entry by default.
b. Machine and Labor Settings - These settings will not change the retail price in market based pricing. This is used for cost based pricing. For more information on Cost Based Pricing, please see Cost Based Pricing.
8. Go to the Advanced section. This section can vary by assembly.
a. Assembly Discount - This allows for a percentage, flat amount, or formula discount to be visible to the customer.
b. Calculated Item Quantity - This can enable a calculated item quantity for order entry instead of entering an assembly quantity.
Example: In the case of garments, a sum of line item quantities can be calculated for the assembly quantity.
9. Click Save.

The system will store all of the cost on each component for reporting purposes only. Cost is not used to calculate a price.
