Additional Contact Features

After the initial creation of a Contact, you will have the ability to enter additional information and parameters to customize your working relationship. This includes specialized accounting details, the ability to track Estimates and Orders, and a section for custom notes about this customer and their preferences.

Accessing a Contact


Navigate to Sales / Contacts.



1. Select the Contact you want to view from the list. Clicking the Contact name opens the Contact detail page.

    a. Use the Search box to quickly find a Contact by name or other criteria.

    b. The Search Settings icon opens up more options.

    c. Clicking this dropdown allows you to select which columns will be displayed. 

    d. Checking this box allows Inactive Records to be displayed.




Contact Heading


At the top of the Contact page is a heading area with quick information about the Contact. What appears depends on the information you have entered.


    a. Contact name - The name of the Contact and position in the Company.

    b. Birthdate

    c. Timezone - This is especially helpful if the Contact is in an alternate timezone.

    d. Default Location - Which Location handles business with this Contact.

    e. Status - The lifecycle of the contact (Lead, Prospect, or Client).



   

Contact Details


The Contact page includes sections where you can view and edit Contact information. This includes the information entered when the Contact was created, plus linked Companies, Connectors, and Addresses.


a. Companies - A list of Companies linked to this Contact. Each Company name is a link that opens that Company. Primary and Billing are shown where applicable. 

b. Connect - Email addresses and phone numbers (e.g., Office Main, Office, Personal, Home). 

Note: Enter only numbers for phone fields; the system formats them based on Settings / System / Localization.

c. Addresses - Personal or Contact addresses. 

d. This opens a popup allowing you to edit Contact Details.

Note: For Contacts that are not linked to a Company (standalone or Personal Account Contacts), the Contact page will not show a Company list. 




Customer Overview and Activity


a. QR Code - The QR Code button allows you to view or generate a QR code for this Contact. The QR code can be used to quickly share or link to the Contact (e.g., for events or mobile access).

b. Files - The Files button allows you to view and manage files associated with this Contact. You can upload, download, and organize documents in one place for this Contact.

c. More Actions - The ellipsis opens up with options for Set Inactive and History.

Note: Companies with active Orders or Estimates will not have the option to Set Inactive.

d. Upcoming Events - The Upcoming Events section displays any scheduled Calendar events associated with the Contact. Events created in Scheduling and linked to an Estimate or Order associated with this Contact will automatically appear here. Selecting an event opens it in Scheduling in a new tab, where you can review the details or make updates as needed.

e. Open Tasks - The Open Tasks section lists tasks associated with this Contact that are not yet complete. Clicking on an Open Task allows you to view more details and perform any necessary edits.

Note: If there are no Open Tasks, the section will indicate that (e.g., "No Open Tasks"). 

f. Recent Activity - The Recent Activity section shows a list of Tasks, Orders, and Estimates for this Contact. If there is no recent activity, the section will indicate that. 

Note: Clicking the CoreBridge icon allows you to see the full list and filter by Activity Type.

g. Spend Summary - The Contact page displays a Spend Summary with amounts such as Opportunity, Projected, Completed, and Total. These values summarize estimate and order activity for this Contact across linked Companies and help you see their business with you at a glance.

h. Contact Insights - The Contact Insights section shows key metrics for this Contact, such as Last Order (date), Days Since Order, Average Order Value, Total Orders, and Status (e.g., Active, Dormant). Use this to understand the Contact’s ordering pattern and engagement level.

i. Customer Portal Access - The Customer Portal Access section shows whether this Contact has access to the Customer Portal. If the Contact does not have access, use the Grant Access button to send an invitation so the Contact can sign in to the portal. If the Contact already has access, you will see options to manage or rescind that access.




Estimates & Orders


The Estimates & Orders section shows a list of all Estimates and Orders for this Contact with columns that show quick information about the Estimate or Order. 


a. Each row is labeled as EST (estimate) or ORD (order). Clicking a row or the Estimate/Order number will open that Estimate or Order.
