Board Filters

Board Filters are a way to customize the information appearing on your Boards. Configuring your Board Filter settings allows you to have personalized filters for each individual Board.

This article explains how to open board setup in CoreBridge EVO, add and configure Board Filters, and save your changes. It also notes how the EVO experience differs from the legacy Settings / Boards / Board Setup path.

For more information on opening boards, the boards list, and using the board workspace (including the runtime Filter panel), see Boards Overview.

Opening Board Setup

In CoreBridge EVO, boards are opened from the Boards item in the main navigation (instead of only from inside Sales or another module). Board names, columns, and filter definitions are edited from the board designer, which you open from the board workspace.

1. Select Boards in the left navigation.

2. On the Boards list, click the Name of the board you want to add Board Filters to.

3. In the board header, open the menu control beside the board title (the same menu that lists Edit Board, Manage Access when enabled, Favorite, and Clone) and choose Edit Board. This replaces the legacy path Settings / Boards / Board Setup where the board was chosen from a setup list.

4. In the board designer, open the Board Filters section (the label matches legacy; it may appear as a tab or a step along the top of the designer, depending on your screen width).

Note: If Edit Board is not available, your employee role may not include board administration permissions.

Adding Board Filters

1. When you are on Board Filters, click Add (in legacy this appeared as + ADD) to insert a new filter row.

2. Use the Board Filter row controls and dropdowns to define the filter.

a. Drag handle (grid icon) — When you have multiple filters, drag to change the order they appear in the board Filter menu.

b. Object — Sets the base criteria for the filter and begins with the Board Type already selected for this board. Fields that show a trailing arrow require another selection until no further arrow appears.

Note: Use the Back control at the top of the dropdown if you need to change an Object after drilling into nested choices.

c. Filter Name — The label users see for this filter in the Filter menu on the board toolbar.

d. Default Value — Optional preset value for the filter when a user opens the board.

Note: Click the X on an individual value to remove it, or use the X at the edge of the field to clear the whole selection when that control is shown.

e. Remove (subtract icon) — Deletes the filter row.

f. Add — Adds another filter row to the list.

3. Click Save to store the Board Filters.

Note: After saving, users apply these filters from the open board using the Filter control in the board toolbar; that panel only lists filters you configure here (see Boards Overview).
