The Task list is an efficient way to organize specific jobs and assignments for employees in one convenient location. In CoreBridge Evo, tasks are managed under My Profile → Tasks.

Accessing Tasks
You can open Tasks in several ways:
- My Profile → Tasks in the left navigation.
- The Tasks button in the system header, which opens the My Tasks tray.
- The + Task button on the Tasks search screen.

My Tasks and All Tasks
Navigate to My Profile → Tasks. The search view has two tabs:
- My Tasks — shows only tasks assigned to the signed-in user.
- All Tasks — shows tasks across the business (based on your permissions).
Creating a Task
1. Go to My Profile → Tasks.
2. Select My Tasks or All Tasks, depending on who the task is for.
3. Click + Task.
4. Complete the task form. Required fields include Task Name and Task Type (marked with a red asterisk).
5. Optionally set Customer, Order/Estimate, Opportunity, Assigned To, Due Date, and Due Time.
6. Click Save to save the task.
Note: You can also create a task from the header Tasks tray.
Completing and Reopening Tasks
- Mark a task complete from the task detail view, list row actions, or the Mark as Complete checkbox when creating or editing a task.
- When completed, the completion date is recorded on the task.
- To reopen a completed task, use Mark as Incomplete from the row actions menu or detail view.
Filter Options
Use the search filters and column filters on the Tasks list to narrow results. Enable Show Completed in the filter options to include completed tasks in the list.
Task Types (Settings)
Task types are managed under Settings → Task Types. You can add and edit task types, and designate up to four as Quick Tasks with a custom icon and color. Quick Task buttons appear on Company and Contact detail pages for fast task creation.
