Creating a Recurring Template

Creating a template for Orders that occur on a regular basis can be a time saving option as well as a way to reduce errors. This feature may be useful for clients that place the same order repeatedly on a set schedule, or for inventoried items that need to be reproduced regularly.

Creating a Recurring Template


To create a Recurring Template navigate to Sales / Orders / Recurring Templates.

Note: If you do not see the Recurring Templates tab please contact sales@corebridge.net to discuss adding this option to your system.



1. Select the Green Plus button.



2. Order Due Date - Set the number of days following the Order creation you would like the Due Date.

3. Active Status - Choose if this Recurring Template is Active or Paused.

4. First Order Date - Use the calendar to select the date on the first Order.

5. Repeat Order Every - Select if you would like the Order to repeat on the hour, day, week, month or year and the frequency it will repeat.

6. Ends - You can set your recurring Order to end on a specific date by choosing On Date and selecting the date on the calendar. Alternately, if you would like the Order to be open ended, choose Ends When Canceled.



7. Fill in the remaining information just as you would for a single Order, including Customer Information, and the Line Items that will make up this Order.

8. Select Save Recurring Template.



Note: This will save your template under the Recurring Templates tab on the Orders page. To generate an Order from this template, follow the steps below.



Creating an Order from a Recurring Template


Once you have created the template, you can easily generate an Order.


Navigate to Sales / Orders / Recurring Templates.



1. Hover your mouse on the far right end of the row containing the template you would like to use. Click on the Ellipsis that appears there.

2. Select Generate Order Now.

Note: This will open the Order in a new tab on your browser. You will have the opportunity to edit, add items, or enter a payment on the Order.
