Setting up Email From Addresses

Email From Addresses allow you to send emails from your CoreBridge system using a personal or business email.

Setting Up Email From Addresses 


Navigate to Settings / System / Email From Addresses.



To create a Shared Email From Address:

1. Click the Green Plus icon

2. Select the Email Type. To give multiple users permission, select Shared. Refine which users will have access to this email under Permissions.

3. Enter the Email Username and Email Domain.

Note: Email Domains must be created before an Email From Address can be created. Email Domains can be created in Settings / System / Email Domains.

4. Input the correct information under Permissions. 

   a. Email From Addresses available to - Choose if you would like this email available to all employees. If you choose to limit availability to certain employees, you can so by Role, or by specific employee name.

   b. Email From Address to be used by - Choose if you would like this email available to all of your locations, or only specific ones. If you would like to add locations to your system, please reach out to sales@corebridge.net.

5. Click Save and Continue.



To create a Personal Email From Address:

1. Click the Green Plus Icon.

2. Select the Email Type. If only one person will be using this email, select Personal. Only the person assigned to the email under Permissions will be able to use it.

3. Enter the Email Username and Email Domain.

Note: Email Domains must be created before an Email From Address can be created. Email Domains can be created in Settings / System / Email Domains.

4. Use the dropdown under Permissions to select the employee that will be assigned to the email address.

5. Click Save and Continue.




Authorizing the New Email 


After a new email is saved, it must be authorized.

To authorize the email: 

1. Under From Email Addresses, select the new email address from the email menu. 

Note: Any Email From Address that shows a Pending status will need to be authorized before it can be used. 

2. Click Sign In & Authorize. Then, sign in with the email address.

Note: If you are signing in using a Google email, select Sign in with Google.



3. You can check to see which addresses have been authorized from the Email From Addresses menu under the Status heading. 

    a. Select the Filter button.

    b. Check Include Inactive to show the email addresses that are still Pending.
