Board Filters

Board Filters are a way to customize the information appearing on your Boards. Configuring your Board Filter settings allows you to have personalized filters for each individual Board. For more information on creating and understanding Boards, please see Board Setup or Boards Overview.

To begin, navigate to Settings / Boards / Board Setup and select the Board you would like to add a Board Filter to.



Adding Board Filters


1. Click on the Board Filters tab.

2. Click the + ADD button. 


    

3. Fill in the Board Filter Options using the dropdown menus.

    a. Grid Icon - This can be used to drag and drop to change the order if you have multiple Filters.

    b. Object - This gives the basic criteria for the Board Filter and will automatically begin with the Board Type already selected for this Board. Boxes with an Arrow to the right of them indicate that further options must be selected for the Object. Continue selecting until there are no more arrows.

Note: Use the Back arrow at the top of the dropdown if you need to change an Object.

Note: For more information on Objects, see below.

    c. Filter Name - This label will display from within the Filter menu. 

    d. Default Value - This is an optional field.  

Note: You can click the X on the individual item to delete one item at a time, or click the icon to the right to clear the field. 

    e. Subtract Icon - When clicked, this icon will remove the created filter. 

    f. + Add Button - This button allows a new filter to be created. 

4. Click Save.
