After the initial creation of a Company, you will have the ability to enter additional information and parameters to customize your working relationship. This includes specialized accounting details, the ability to track Estimates and Orders, and a section for custom notes about this Customer and their preferences.

Accessing a Company
Navigate to Sales / Companies.

1. Select the Company you want to view from the list. Clicking the Company name opens the Company detail page.
a. Use the Search box to quickly find a Company by name or other criteria.
b. The Search Settings icon opens up more options.
c. Clicking this dropdown allows you to select which columns will be displayed.
d. Checking this box allows Inactive Records to be displayed.

Company Heading
At the top of the Company page is a heading area with quick information about the Company. What appears may depend on your package and the information you have entered.
a. Company name - The name of the Company.
b. Preferred Salesperson - The employee assigned as the Primary Salesperson for this Company.
c. Company Origination - How the Company heard about you.
d. Industry - The industry the Company is affiliated with.
e. Payment Terms - The payment terms selected for this Company.
f. Default Location - Primary Location assigned to this Company.
g. Status - The lifecycle of the Customer.

Company Details
The Company page includes sections where you can view and edit Company information. This includes the information you entered when the Company was created, plus additional areas such as contact methods and addresses.
a. Contacts - The Contacts section lists all Contacts associated with this Company. Each Contact name is a link that opens that Contact's profile. The Primary and Billing Contact roles are indicated; these can be the same or different people. Clicking the arrow expands the Contact to show their connectors.
b. Connect - Phone numbers and email addresses for the Company (e.g., Office Main, Office).
Note: Enter only numbers for phone fields; the system formats them based on Settings / System / Localization.
c. Addresses - Billing and shipping addresses, plus any additional addresses.
d. Edit icon - This opens a popup allowing you to edit Company Details, Sales Context, and Accounting Details.
e. Roles icon - This opens a popup allowing you to manage the team members assigned to each Role for this Company.

Company Overview and Activity
a. Statement - The Statement button allows you to view or generate a statement for this Company. The statement shows the balance and transaction history for the Company so you can send or use it for billing and reconciliation.
b. Email - The Email button allows you to send an email to the Company by opening an in-system email composer.
c. Files - The Files button allows you to view and manage files associated with this Company. You can upload, download, and organize documents (e.g., contracts, artwork) in one place for this Customer.
d. More Actions - The ellipsis opens up with options for Royalties, History, and Set Inactive.
Note: Royalties are available in systems where they have been enabled as part of the company’s setup.
Note: Companies with active Orders or Estimates will not have the option to Set Inactive.
e. Financial Summary -
Balance owed (total amount due on active orders) and, when applicable, a breakdown such as WIP (Work in Progress) with the number of Orders and amount.
In-Store Credit shows the amount of store credit available to this Company.
Use the Manage Credit button to add or reduce in-store credit, or to process refundable credit.
A Spend Summary (e.g., Opportunity, Projected, Completed, Total) may also appear to summarize activity with this Company.
f. Open Tasks - The Open Tasks section lists tasks associated with this Company that are not yet complete. If there are no Open Tasks, the section will indicate that (e.g., "No Open Tasks"). You can use this area to track follow-ups, approvals, or other work related to the Company.

Estimates & Orders
The Estimates & Orders section shows a list of all Estimates and Orders for this ompany with columns that show quick information about the Estimate or Order.
a. Each row is labeled as EST (estimate) or ORD (order). Clicking a row or the Estimate/Order number will open that Estimate or Order.
