Pricing Tiers give you the flexibility to assign different prices for the same Assembly based on the type of Customer you are working with. This feature is especially useful when you want to offer special pricing for certain groups, such as wholesale accounts, preferred customers, or long-term partners, while still maintaining standard pricing for everyone else. By setting up Pricing Tiers, you can streamline your sales process and ensure consistent, accurate pricing for each customer group.

1. Click the Green Plus button.
2. Type in the Name.
3. Click the Green Checkmark.
Assigning Pricing Tiers to Customers
Once you’ve created your additional tiers, the next step is to assign Customers to the appropriate Pricing Tier rather than leaving them in the system default.
Navigate to Sales / Customers / Company and select the appropriate Company.
1. Select the Company Details tab.
2. Scroll down to the Accounting Details heading.
3. Use the dropdown to select the desired Pricing Tier.
Note: Changes will automatically save.
Assigning Pricing Tiers to Assemblies.

Navigate to Settings / Components / Assemblies and select the appropriate Assembly.
1. Select the Pricing tab.
2. Scroll down and expand the Tables bar.
Note: Pricing Tiers can be set using any of the Pricing Methods as well as the Discount Table. This example uses Cost Plus - Markup Pricing Method on the Markup Table.

4. Select the desired Pricing Tier from the dropdown.
5. Enter in the desired discount.
Note: This can be entered as a percentage amount as shown and CoreBridge will calculate the reduced markup or margin. Alternately, you can enter in the changed markup or margin amount. This is how you would set a price increase. See example below.
6. Click Save.

Pricing Tier Details
Beyond the basic setup, Pricing Tiers include additional settings that let you fine-tune how they work, such as setting conditions for when a customer qualifies for a discount or enabling roll-up pricing.
Setting Parameters on Discounts
You can set conditions that determine when a Customer qualifies for a discount. For example, in a wholesale setting, you might require Customers to order a minimum quantity before receiving a bulk discount.
Navigate to Settings / Components / Assemblies and select the appropriate Assembly.
1. Select the Pricing tab.
2. Click the Plus Sign to add an additional column.
3. Edit the quantity to reflect the amount they would needed to quallify for a discount.
Note: The value will display using the same unit of measurement as the Assembly - for example, in number of items, feet, or whatever unit the Assembly is set to.
4. Adjust the price.
5. Click Save.
Roll Up Pricing
Pricing Tiers are applied at the Assembly level, meaning each individual Assembly -including any child assemblies -must have its own Pricing Tier set. However, if you prefer, you can use the advanced settings to “roll up” pricing so that Child Assemblies follow the Parent Assembly’s pricing. This option can simplify management in some cases, but it may not be the best fit for every situation.
Navigate to Settings / Components / Assemblies and select the appropriate Assembly.
1. Select the Linked Components tab.
2. Select the desired Component.
3. Expand the Advanced Settings.
4. Check the option to Roll the prices and costs of this Assembly into the Parent totals.
5. Click Save.
Note: These Advanced Settings options will need to be set for each individual Component that you wish to roll up into the Parent pricing.
