When using Quick Products and Line Items, Discounts can manually be added and adjusted. This feature enables users to manually input or modify discount values during the checkout process. Discounts can be added to completed Orders or Orders in progress. For more information on beginning the Order or Estimate process, please see Creating an Estimate/Order. For more information on making changes to a closed Order, please see Editing an Invoiced Order.

To add a Discount navigate to Sales / Orders or Estimates and open an Order or Estimate.
Adding a Discount to an Order or Estimate
1. Use the Green Arrow to expand the payment tab.
2. Select Order Discount, or Estimate Discount.
Note: This will open a pop-up allowing you to continue.
3. Select either a Discount Percentage or a Discount Amount and enter in the appropriate information.
4. Click Save.
Adding a Line Item Discount
1. Within an Order or Estimate, select a Line Item or create a new one by clicking on Add Line Item.
2. On the right side, select Line Item Discount.
Note: This will open a pop-up allowing you to continue.
3. Select either a Discount Percentage or a Discount Amount and enter in the appropriate amount.
4. Click Save.
Note: Line Items must be unlocked in order to have a Line Item Discount applied.
Overriding Discounts
1. Select Order Discount, Estimate Discount, or Line Item Discount.
2. Update the Discount to the desired amount.
3. Click Save.
