Copying Yourself on Outgoing Customer Emails (CC/BCC)

When you email an Estimate, Order, or Proof to a customer from CoreBridge, you can send a copy of that email to yourself — or to any other address — using the CC or BCC fields. You can add the address on a single email, or set a default CC/BCC on an email template so it is added automatically every time.

Send Yourself a Copy on a Single Email (CC / BCC)


  1. Navigate to Sales / Estimates or Sales / Orders and open the desired Estimate or Order.
  2. In the five-icon menu at the top right, select the Emails (envelope) icon.
  3. Choose the email template you want to send (for example, Email Estimate, or Blank to start from scratch).
  4. In the New Email window, find the To field. To the right of it, select CC or BCC.
    • CC (carbon copy) — the address is visible to everyone on the email.
    • BCC (blind carbon copy) — the address is hidden from the customer.
  5. Enter your own email address in the CC or BCC field.
  6. Complete the To, Subject, and message body, then select Send Email. A copy of the email is delivered to the address you entered.


Note: Entered this way, the CC/BCC address applies only to that one email. To have it added automatically every time, set a default on the email template (below).


Set a Default CC or BCC on an Email Template


Adding a CC or BCC address to an email template pre-fills that address every time the template is used, so you are copied automatically without entering it each time.


  1. Navigate to Settings / System / Email Templates.
  2. Select the record-type tab for the template you use (for example, Estimate or Order), then open the template. To build a new one, select the + button.
  3. Open the Template tab.
  4. Next to the Default To Address field, select CC or BCC.
  5. Enter the address you want copied on every send (for example, your own email address). Merge fields are also supported.
  6. Changes save automatically. From now on, that address is pre-filled in the CC/BCC field whenever you send using this template.


Note: A default CC/BCC applies to the specific template you edit. Repeat these steps on each template (Estimate, Order, etc.) you want copied.


Keep a Permanent Record of Sent Emails


If you would like a lasting record of every message the system sends on your behalf, set up your business email as an Email From Address under Settings / System / Email From Addresses. Once the address is authorized, outgoing messages are sent through your own mailbox, so a copy is automatically saved in that mailbox’s Sent folder.
