Use Widgets in System Settings to control who can view each dashboard widget. Widgets are system-defined. You do not create, rename, or delete them on this screen.

Locating Widgets in System Settings
Navigate to System Settings / My Business / Widgets.

The Widgets screen lists each system widget and its current visibility settings.
a. Search - Filters the list by typing part of a widget name or description.
b. Name - The widget name. Click the name to open the edit dialog.
c. Description - A short summary of what the widget shows. Descriptions are system-defined and cannot be edited.
d. Categories - Category labels for the widget, such as Financial, Sales, or Workflow.
e. Permissions - Who can view the widget: Everyone, named roles, or Disabled.

Note: The More Actions menu includes options such as viewing history for a widget. There is no Add control on this screen because widgets are provided by the system.
Setting Who Can View a Widget
Use the edit dialog to change visibility for a widget.
1. Click the widget name to open the edit dialog.

2. Under Who can view this Widget, select one of the following:
- Everyone - All employees can add and view the widget on a dashboard.
- Only Certain Roles - Only employees in the roles you select can add and view the widget.
- Disabled - Employees cannot add the widget from Add Widget.
3. If you selected Only Certain Roles, select one or more roles in the Roles field. Clear a role by clicking the X on its chip, or clear all selected roles with Clear All.
4. Click Save to apply your changes, or click Close to dismiss without saving.

After you save, the Permissions column on the Widgets list updates to match your choice.
Note: Description and Categories in the dialog are system-defined and cannot be edited.

1. Can I create or delete widgets?
Answer: No. Widgets are system-defined. You can only change who can view each widget (or disable it).
2. What is the difference between Widgets in Settings and widgets on the Dashboard?
Answer: System Settings / My Business / Widgets controls who is allowed to view each widget. On the Dashboard, employees add widgets they are allowed to see and arrange them on their own dashboards. For those steps, see How to Set Up Dashboards and Widgets.
3. What happens when a widget is Disabled?
Answer: Employees cannot add that widget from Add Widget. You can turn it back on later by choosing Everyone or Only Certain Roles and saving.
4. Who can change widget permissions?
Answer: Employees who can open System Settings and access Widgets (typically administrators). Role-based access to System Settings is controlled under Employee Roles & Permissions.
