Within an individual board, each section can be expanded to use extra tools, show additional features, and work with the customer. This feature allows you to edit and use board items without needing to find the item individually. Boards are a section found within the Sales, Production, and Management Modules.
This article describes the board details panel in CoreBridge EVO™ (the panel on the right when you select a card or row). It replaces the legacy board side panel workflow while keeping the same idea: work with the record and its lines without hunting for them elsewhere. For how to open boards, switch list and column views, and use board tools, see Boards Overview. To change what appears on the board itself, see Board Filters.

Opening the Details Panel
1. Go to Boards / [Board name] and open the board you need.
2. Select a card (column view) or row (list view). The details panel opens on the right side of the workspace.
3. Use the controls at the top of the panel to work with the panel layout (for example pin or close). Closing the panel returns the board to full width.
Note: In EVO, boards are opened from Boards in the main navigation rather than only from module-specific board menus in legacy.
Order and Estimate Details on the Board Panel
When the board type is Order or Estimate, the panel summarizes the record you selected. What you see can vary by board configuration and permissions, but typically includes the following.
a. Record number at the top as a link (for example ORD-1195). Select it to open the full order or estimate in the Sales workspace.
b. A line count next to the number (for example the number of line items on the record).
c. Customer and Salesperson (or equivalent role labels shown on your board).
d. Status for the order or estimate.
e. The title or primary name of the job (for example the project name).
f. Order Details (or estimate equivalent): grouped attributes you can expand. Examples include Order Due, Order Created, Roles (such as salesperson and entered by), and Sales Details (such as customer PO, order origination, sales location, and production location). Select a row to expand or collapse it. Date and role fields respect your security profile.
g. Line Items: a list or table of lines with line number, thumbnail when available, line name, status path (for example Built / Awaiting Installation), and quantity (shown as x0, x1, or similar on your data).
h. Sections for Notes, Comments, and Files so you can review or add information from the panel where enabled.
i. View Order (or View Estimate when applicable) opens the full record workspace with every tab and action, not only what fits on the board panel.
Note: Legacy documentation referred to a blue pencil for some due dates. In EVO, due dates and other editable values are updated through the labeled rows in Order Details or on the full order or estimate screen after you follow the View Order (or estimate) path.
Line Item Details from the Board
The board panel gives a compact view of each line. When you need the full line item workspace (components, proofs, files, and all editable fields), open the record from the panel and then open Line Item Details on the order or estimate screen.
1. In the board details panel, select View Order or View Estimate, or select the record number link at the top of the panel.
2. On the order or estimate workspace, open the Line Items tab if it is not already selected.
3. Select the line you want. Line Item Details opens in a panel on the right.
a. A selector shows which line you are on (for example Line Item: 1 of 2) and arrows to move between lines when more than one exists.
b. Fields such as Name, Category, Tags, Status, Substatus, Quantity, Price Each, and Total Price (read-only or editable depending on status and permissions).
c. Actions or toggles such as Rush, Vended, and Price Locked when your workflow uses them.
d. Tabs for Components, Notes, and Files (labels may vary slightly by configuration), plus tools such as Add Component and expand or collapse component sections.
Note: Purchase orders, destinations, and other modules may appear as tabs on the full order or estimate rather than in the narrow board panel. Use the record link or View Order / View Estimate when you need those areas.
