Setting yourself as a Watcher will allow you to receive email updates on tickets and tasks you are following.

Ticket Watcher
To receive email notifications about a ticket navigate to the Tickets menu and select the desired ticket.
1. Select the Star icon.
2. Select +Add me. You should now receive email updates for the ticket.
Roadmap Watcher
Navigate to the Roadmap screen. For more information on the Roadmap, please see Jira Roadmap Overview
1. Select the Item you would like to watch.
Note: This opens a side panel.
2. Click the Eyeball icon to start watching.
Note: You will receive email notifications when changes are made to this Item.
Task Watcher on Atlassian Jira Plus
Open Atlassian Jira Plus and select the needed task. For more information on Jira, please see Atlassian Jira Plus.
1. Select the Eyeball icon from the top right menu.
2. Select the Add Watchers or the Start Watching buttons to add yourself as a watcher. You should now receive email updates for the task.
