Credit Line Options allow you to set up default actions that occur when a customer reaches their credit limit or when their account is in default.
Note: These options are found under Settings/Accounting/Credit Line Options or Accounting/Settings/Credit Line Options depending on your permissions. They can also be overridden at the Sales/Customers/Companies level.
A. Enter a Starting Credit Limit here.
B. Enter the Grace Period an account is given before it is in default for nonpayment.
C. Choose to Warn your customers or Hold their accounts until a payment has been made.
D. Choose to Warn customers when their account is over their credit limit or place their account on Hold until payment has been made resulting in a balance that is under the credit limit.
E. Select this setting to Warn your customers if a new order will put their account over their credit limit.
F. You can reset these settings by clicking on the More Actions ellipsis.
