CoreBridge Legacy does not include a Merge action for combining two customer company records into one. To combine duplicate customer accounts, use Evo. Most Legacy shops already have Evo access.

Important Information
A merge is permanent. You cannot undo it after it completes.
The company you start on is the Source (the duplicate you want to remove). The company you select next is the Target (the record that remains).
Orders and Estimates move to the Target. Billing address, payment terms, customer notes, and customer-specific pricing on the Target stay as they are. Set those values on the Target before you merge if you need them on the surviving record.
How to Merge in Evo
Sign in to Evo, then follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Sales / Companies.
2. Open the Source Company (the duplicate you want to remove).
3. Open the Action menu.
4. Select Merge Customer.
5. Click Proceed when the warning confirms the Source will be permanently deleted.
6. Search for and select the Target Company (the record that should remain).
7. Click Next, review the summary, then click Merge to confirm.
When the merge completes, Evo opens the Target Company. You should see Orders and Estimates from both companies on that surviving record.
Before You Merge
a. Confirm which Fort Worth-style duplicate (or any pair of companies) should be the Target before you start.
b. Update billing, terms, notes, and customer-specific pricing on the Target if the Source has values you need to keep.
c. Copy customer notes or customer-specific pricing from the Source to the Target when needed. Those values do not move automatically.
